Who we are
What you'll do
- Lead & Scale the SDR Team
- Hire, train, and mentor a team of SDRs focused on outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
- Set clear KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, Sales Qualified Leads) and drive accountability to hit targets.
- Foster a culture of hustle, creativity, and results - celebrating wins and iterating on losses.
- Optimize Outbound Strategy
- Refine targeting, messaging, and outreach sequences (cold emails, calls, LinkedIn) to maximize response rates.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align campaigns and improve lead quality.
- Test new approaches (A/B messaging, referral programs, co-marketing) to break through noise.
- Drive Pipeline for Schools & Parishes
- Own the top of funnel, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads for Account Executives.
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts (e.g., faculty → school-wide deals).
- Work with leadership to refine our ideal customer profile (ICP) and sales playbook.
- Build Processes & Systems
- Implement tools (HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Nav) to streamline workflows.
- Track and report on metrics (conversion rates, lead velocity, pipeline health).
- Document best practices and train SDRs on objection handling, discovery, and closing.
What you'll love
- Mission: This work is incredibly humbling. Every day we get amazing stories and get the pleasure of working on something that impacts lives. Every lead you generate helps bring prayer to thousands of students, teachers, and parishioners. One of my favorite user quotes: “I hate quoting an old, overused cliché, but I’ve been very lost. And I think for the first time in a while I may be found.”
- Ownership: Shape the strategy and culture of our early-stage SDR team. There is nothing more exciting than supporting those directly responsible for the next generation of Catholics developing a personal relationship with God.
- Growth: As we scale, you’ll have opportunities to expand your role (e.g., managing AEs, leading sales operations, taking on cross-functional projects).
- Flexibility: HQ is in Chicago (where we’ve been named a Best Place to Work by Built In) and we would love to have as many team members there as possible, but we are completely flexible on location within the United States.
- Comp: We will pay competitive market rates in terms of equity, cash, & benefits.
What we're looking for
- Passion: First & foremost, we’re looking for someone excited about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun :)
- Experience: 2+ years leading SDRs/BDRs in outbound sales (B2B/SaaS/EdTech preferred). Experience working with Catholic Schools and/or Catholic Parishes a plus
- Coaching skills: You love developing reps into top performers.
- Creative prospector: You test bold outreach strategies to book meetings.
- Data-driven: You live in dashboards and optimize based on metrics.
- Resilient: Rejection doesn’t faze you—you model grit for your team.
- Process-obsessed: You build scalable systems and love refining playbooks.
