Job Description
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Manifest Cyber, you will play a crucial role in leading deployments and infrastructure work for our US Government customers. You will be responsible for installing and configuring the Manifest platform in both unclassified and classified environments, improving deployment automation, maintaining accreditations, and ensuring infrastructure security. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead deployments and infrastructure work for US Government customers.
- Install and configure the Manifest platform in unclassified and classified environments.
- Work on infrastructure engineering to improve deployment automation.
- Maintain accreditations and ensure infrastructure security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-8 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
- Active security clearance or eligibility to have clearance activated.
- Experience in Github (CI/CD), containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, Helm Charts) and cloud architectures (AWS)
- Previous experience maintaining a medium or large-scale production system or COTS products using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Previous experience with commercial software products (SaaS and on-prem) that support 3rd party/external customers.
- Broad experience with cloud products (AWS preferred)
- Significant experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Infrastructure, Unix/Linux, Windows, Scripting, or Security
- Significant experience with scripting (shell, bash, python) or backend development (Golang, python)
- A security-oriented mindset, being able to think in terms of attack surfaces and reducing them. You don’t need to be a security expert, but you do need to be able to think critically about your decisions.
- Excellent written and real-time communication skills, technical and otherwise
- Ability to pick up and learn new development and operations skills.
- US Citizenship is required for this role.
