Account Executive Leader - FinTech

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5-7 Account Executives focused on the Fintech segment.
- Define and build the vertical strategy alongside your AEs for each of those verticals, including executive value message, pitch decks, and in coordination with marketing collateral such as industry pages on the website.
- Coach, mentor, and develop talent.
- Scale existing customers in these verticals to become among Plaid’s top-50 accounts.
- Ensure the team attains consumption-based revenue targets.
- Manage team performance to ensure repeatable and efficient revenue generation.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Account Management, Legal, Commercial, and a number of other teams across Plaid to maintain a consistently high win-rate.
- Inspire a team to achieve new heights while building a culture that is both collaborative and performance-focused.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales experience.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success building teams focused on industry verticals.
- Track record of coaching Account Executives to close and grow accounts from $100K-$1M+ revenue per account.
- Strong and effective leadership capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills and experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to senior executives.
- Excitement to work in a high-growth fast-paced environment.
