The opportunity

Last winter we grew 10x thanks to the might of generalists. Now we’re excited to build a team of full-time sales specialists to take that growth to the next level!

At Ambrook, we’re not just selling, we’re fueling growth to turn an ambitious mission into reality. We operate under a sales assist model where our team focuses on the highest leverage opportunities to intervene and close new business. As such, you’re expected to not only hit revenue targets but to deliver product feedback, help identify process improvements, and ensure every interaction builds our brand. You’ll be an integral member of a growth team that is focused on achieving one goal, together.

While we value proven experience, we’re also looking for team members who deeply identify with the Ag community. If you work on farm, in an industry that serves them, or simply have a passion for the space, this is your opportunity to join a fast paced tech company and thrive.

This role is structured as a contract-to-hire position: we want to give you a shot and expect that you will become a full time employee if you hit performance benchmarks.

  • Build relationships: with our prospects so that their decisions are based on trust, not tactics.

  • Master the process: of selling by improving every day and owning the full cycle from first touch all the way to close.

  • Learn: every nook and cranny of our product as well as agricultural bookkeeping, the larger farm finance ecosystem, and market alternatives.

  • Hit numbers: that are ambitious and critical to our growth. You’re comfortable with high volume calling and communications every day to achieve your goals.

  • Innovate: your way into new methods, tactics, and approaches that increase

Within 1 month you'll...

  • Lead Ambrook demos end-to-end, walking customers through our product and closing them independently.

  • Close your first deals and hit your scaled target revenue numbers to put yourself on a trajectory to full productivity.

  • Establish deep relationships with your team and cross functional peers.

  • Master your pipeline and the essential tools (Hubspot, Dialpad, Slack, etc) that you’ll need to scale up your productivity

  • Embed yourself deeply in understanding the state of farm finance, building a strong intuition about customer needs and audience segmentation.

Within 3 months you'll...

  • Understand our product well enough to answer all but the most technical questions on the fly and provide detailed, prioritized feedback to our product teams

  • Consistently hit or exceed your quota to help us hit ambitious growth targets

  • Interview, collaborate with, and help train your peers as well as new team members

  • Provide regular feedback on themes from sales conversations and opportunities to close more ICP prospects without a sales call (so you can focus on even bigger prospects!)

About You

  • As mentioned above, we love to see proven sales experience but we’re also open to a diversity of experiences:

    • Direct farm experience. If you can keep up with the daily grind out there, we know you can succeed here.

    • Hospitality, Retail, or door-to-door sales. You’ve dealt with high volume and high pressure environments with a customer centric mindset.

    • Athletes and College grads. You’ve demonstrated discipline, resilience, and striving for outcomes.

  • Thoughtful, compassionate, and empathetic approach to interacting with those around you as well as those on the other end of the line

  • Bonus: Experience with product-led growth, sales-assist, and channel partner growth motions.
