Ambrook’s mission is to help family-run American businesses become more profitable and resilient.
From record-breaking droughts to rising input costs and unpredictable markets, operators across American agriculture and industry are navigating increasing pressure — much of it driven by a changing climate and economy. Many of the best long-term investments — like water-efficient irrigation or improved grazing rotations — support both the land and the bottom line. But even when the payoff is clear, these changes often require upfront capital and financial clarity that’s hard to come by.
With fragmented records and outdated tools, business owners can’t easily see what’s working — let alone prove viability to a lender, partner, or the next generation.
Ambrook is rebuilding the financial infrastructure that independent operators rely on.
We replace paperwork and legacy systems with modern tools for accounting, banking, invoicing and spending — built for people who spend more time in the field than in the office. Our platform gives producers the financial clarity they need to make confident investments in their land, their operation, and their future.
Our customers are the backbone of the real economy — stewards of land, labor, and legacy. When they can invest in ways that make their businesses stronger and more durable, they become a force for generational resilience across America.
We’re starting with farmers and ranchers across the country — helping them keep the family business in the family and make decisions that stand the test of time.
We’re a Series A startup backed by top investors (Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, Homebrew, Designer Fund, BoxGroup, and more) and are looking for early team members who are looking to untangle the knotted intersection between American industry, climate, and the economy.

We're looking for an experienced finance professional who's eager to shape the future of financial management in agriculture. You'll bring deep accounting expertise into a role that blends product, strategy, and customer success, helping to build amazing producer experiences that help them make smarter, faster financial decisions.
In this role, you’ll pair a strong technical grounding in accounting and finance with curiosity for product and customer experience. You’ll help design tools, services, and playbooks that move producers beyond bookkeeping into forecasting, scenario planning, and smarter business decisions.
You’ll report to the Head of Customer Success and work closely with Product, Growth, and our founding team to design both the playbook and the product for what modern financial management in agriculture should look like.
What You’ll Do
Build out our services offerings — scope, prototype, and refine services and tools that help customers budget, forecast, and analyze performance in Ambrook.
Infuse best practices across the team — serve as the subject matter expert in finance across the team, building playbooks for customer success and beyond to best support customers.
Identify product opportunities from deep product expertise — work with our product and design team to shape features that automate or simplify financial analysis for our customers and enable the customer success team.
Analyze user behavior — identify opportunities for expansion within our existing customer base and usage patterns to increase activation and retention.
Design scalable processes — define how Ambrook supports, measures, and learns from customers using advanced financial workflows.
Within 1 Month, You’ll…
Deeply learn Ambrook’s product, customer segments, and the core financial workflows we power today.
Lead onboarding, reconciliation, and reporting processes to identify where producers most need higher-level financial guidance.
Build an initial framework for what a business analysis layer of Ambrook could look like both as a service and a product capability.
Within 3 Months, You’ll…
Partner with Product and Customer Success to pilot the first version of a CFO-as-a-service offering that we can begin piloting as part of our existing products
Develop training and enablement tools for product specialists to support customers with strategic financial analysis.
Own discovery for new design partner relationships to shape the business analysis layer in Ambrook.
Identify opportunities where automation or productization could replace manual analysis or workflows.
Within 6 Months, You’ll…
Be viewed internally as a key finance and product thought partner, helping translate customer insights into actionable plans to enhance product and services offering.
Lead the roadmap for scaling Ambrook’s services offerings, defining what should stay white-glove and what should become part of the core platform.
Drive growth in add-on products or services that augment or improve Ambrook’s core product offerings.
