About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure and Security Tech Lead to design, build, and secure our hybrid-SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on coder and has foundational skills in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, as well as working with customers to navigate any compliance processes to ensure the platform meets the most stringent information security requirements.

What you'll do

• Implement scalable cloud infrastructure that will power our hybrid-SaaS platform including multiple backend services as well as distributed data stores
• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to understand and implement secure and compliant infrastructure to protect valuable customer data
• Exhibit continuous curiosity in understanding emerging cloud paradigms that improve our ability to deliver and integrate with customer’s cloud environments

What we're looking for

• 6+ years platform infrastructure engineering experience, with an emphasis on building in the major cloud providers
• Proficiency in at least one infrastructure as code framework, such as Terraform
• Expertise with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS
• Experience designing & implementing information security best practices in an enterprise environment, including encryption, network configuration, access control, and audit logging
• Experience running and maintaining distributed data stores, including backing up, restoring, and failovers
• Experience deploying microservices using Docker, Kubernetes or similar frameworks
• Experience running a 24x7 SaaS platform with an SLA
• Computer Science or other technical degree, or equivalent practical experience

You might also have (nice to have)

• Experience with hybrid-SaaS cloud architectures, including multi-account or single tenant SaaS
• Experience contributing to open-source software, building SDKs, or CLIs
• Familiarity with machine learning & AI
• Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies & protocols such as SAML and OIDC

• Our target base salary range for this role is $185,000 - 230,000+, based on your experience and how your skills align with role requirements
