About You
- Candidate must hold a Limited X-Ray License (State of California) as well as a Certified Medical Assistant license with back office experience
- Applicants must be efficient, reliable, pleasant, professional, sophisticated, punctual, detail oriented, works well with others, and organized
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication (both written and verbal) is necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant certification
- Aware of common safety hazards and precautions
- Ability to react calmly in emergency situations
What You'll Do
- Operate equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
- Schedule patients for tests and/or procedures
- Administer injections/medical treatments and draw blood
- Key data into patient records and scans medical records into the patients' charts
- Assist clinicians with examination when needed and may also assist with office procedures
- Performs other clinical duties as assigned by clinicians or office manager
