Location: Framingham, Massachusetts
Hours of Operation:
- Sunday: 8:45am - 7:00pm
-Monday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
-Tuesday: 8:45am - 7:00pm
-Wednesday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
-Thursday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
-Friday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
-Saturday: 8:45am - 7:00pm
Schedule: We are looking for a candidate who is available Saturday, Sunday and two additional weekdays.

What You'll Do

  • Perform patient care by taking vitals, patient history and triaging.
  • Assist with procedures such as incision and drainage, lacerations and wound care.
  • Administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular and subcutaneous routes, carry out ear lavages and run EKGs.
  • Conduct lab testing such as urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, monospot, rapid strep and influenza testing, rapid hiv testing.
  • Manage the front desk and perform receptionist duties as needed.
  • Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
  • Complete Prior Authorizations via insurance portals for patients receiving referrals and orders.

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (except in those locations(s) permitted by law for exemption with experience, diploma and/or national certification).
  • Current BLS certification 1+ years experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Great communication skills
