In this role at Carbon Health you will have direct oversight of all areas of credentialing for our clinical teams as well as credentialing software. As Carbon Health grows, your team will as well, and your management skills will be valuable to ensure your team has a strong leader.
What You'll Do
- Create and implement innovative processes and playbooks to ensure credentialing and clinician licensure are completed in a timely manner, an important and critical component for the success of our clinics
- Primary contact for NCQA and delegated credentialing agreements, leading the NCQA certification process and audits
- Ensure reports on credentialing status of providers is up to date and accurate
- Manage process of negotiating new insurance contracts as related to credentialing
- Manage update to date information regarding fee schedules
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in medical insurance credentialing and payer enrollment
- Evident leadership and people management experience in a remote environment
- Ability to conduct executive communication and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders that represents the company well
- Strong NCQA experience, as well as credentialing software and workflow creation experience
- Certifications: NAMSS: Certification of National Association of Medical Staff Services, CPMSM: Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Services Manager, or CPCS: Certified Provider Credentials Specialist (preferred)
