THE JOB AT A GLANCE

The Credentialing Operations & Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Carbon Health’s credentialing operations through technical reporting, delegated credentialing oversight, and operational back-up support. This role is responsible for building and maintaining system-based reports, supporting delegated payer audits, producing credentialing committee materials, and managing delegated credentialing relationships with payers.

This position partners closely with the Credentialing Manager and Provider Credentialing Specialists to ensure operational continuity, audit readiness, and reporting accuracy. The Analyst also serves as a back-up resource during periods of high volume, new provider onboarding surges, or operational fluctuations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting, Analytics & Systems Support

  • Build, configure, and maintain reports within credentialing and enrollment software using system-specific reporting requirements.

  • Run and distribute recurring and ad-hoc reports for management, credentialing leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Develop credentialing committee reports, dashboards, and summary materials to support committee review and governance.

  • Support data integrity and consistency across credentialing systems, ensuring accurate provider, status, and compliance reporting.

Delegated Credentialing & Payer Oversight

  • Manage and support delegated credentialing relationships with payers where Carbon Health holds delegation.

  • Prepare, compile, and submit documentation for delegated payer audits and ongoing monitoring requirements.

  • Track delegated credentialing requirements, reporting timelines, and audit deliverables to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • Partner with the Credentialing Manager to address findings, corrective action plans, and process improvements resulting from audits.

Operational Support & Back-Up Coverage

  • Assist Provider Credentialing Specialists with workload overflow, new provider adds, and credentialing fluctuations as needed.

  • Serve as an operational back-up to ensure continuity during peak onboarding periods or staffing gaps.

  • Support the Credentialing Manager with special projects, process improvement initiatives, documentation updates, and operational analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Contracting, Enrollment, Revenue Cycle, Clinic Operations, and Compliance teams to support provider readiness and delegated requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data visibility, and streamline credentialing workflows.

  • Maintain documentation, trackers, and reporting standards that support audit readiness and operational transparency.

ABOUT YOU

  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in provider credentialing, healthcare operations, reporting, or systems-based administrative roles.

  • Strong technical aptitude with healthcare software systems and reporting tools.

  • Experience building reports within credentialing, enrollment, or healthcare operations platforms required.

  • Working knowledge of NCQA credentialing standards and delegated credentialing preferred.

  • Experience supporting delegated payer audits strongly preferred.

  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to balance technical work with operational support responsibilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (Docs, Sheets, Excel).
