Associate Parish Lead, Operations
Hallow
What You'll Do
- Learn the Vision and Strategy: You’ll dive deep into the Parish team’s offerings, playbooks, and presentations. You’ll shadow other team members during trainings and meetings to gain context on how we serve and support our partners.
- Support Onboarding Coordination for New Partners: For every new parish partner, you’ll join kickoff and milestone meetings alongside the Parish Lead. You will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding details and follow up tasks
- Build and Support Operational Systems: You’ll work closely with Parish Leads and with other Hallow teams to streamline core workflows—setting up parish pages, unlocking accounts, shipping tools, and maintaining accurate partnership records. You’ll manage and improve the systems that make it easy for us to serve our partners at scale.
- Partner Communication & Engagement: You’ll help manage communications with partner parishes, post and correspond regularly on parish pages, and identify Heralds (parish champions) who can deepen engagement. You’ll also look for opportunities to improve parish resources and help launch new content or tools, and work cross-functionally to help build those additional resources as needed.
- Coordinate Logistics: From account provisioning to promotional asset fulfillment, you’ll be the logistical heartbeat of the parish engagement process—ensuring things happen on time, every time.
What You'll Love
- Mission: This work is incredibly humbling. Everyday we hear amazing stories and we get the pleasure of working on something that’s impacting lives. You’ll also work with a passionate, kind, and mission-driven team who are deeply committed to the Church and to one another.
- Ownership: When a company is this small, every employee is a core team member with an outsized impact. You'll be one of the faces of Hallow as you play a critical role in the relationship with our parish partners.
- Growth: From day 1, you’ll be a part of the startup journey. We're growing quickly, and we’ll need your help to create a world-class team and to support our partner parishes in building community through prayer.
- Flexibility: We operate as a remote first team with members all over the globe and are open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. for this position. We don’t care when or where you work, just that it gets done! That being said, our HQ is in Chicago and if in person work is something you are interested in we'd love to have you there!
- Comp: We pay competitive market rates in terms of equity, cash, & benefits.
What We're Looking For
- Passion: First and foremost, we’re looking for someone excited and passionate about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun to actually care about what you’re working on!
- Fluency in Parish Life & Prayer: You understand parish rhythms, language, and expectations—ideally as someone who’s had exposure to Catholic parish ministry or community life. While you don’t need to be a theologian, you should have a working understanding of prayer styles and spiritual practices to help support parishes and explain how Hallow supports spiritual growth.
- Servant Leader: You love people and see service as a calling. You bring grace under pressure, uplift teammates and partners, and genuinely want what’s best for others.
- Organized and Operationally Excellent: You thrive in fast-paced environments, where staying organized and improving systems is key. You can keep many moving parts in sync, spot inefficiencies, and proactively improve processes. You’re comfortable with—or excited to quickly learn—tools like Slack, HubSpot, Notion, and Google Workspace. You enjoy figuring out systems and optimizing how they work.
- Grit & Detail-Oriented: This is a new program at a fast-growing startup, so we’re looking for comfort working in ambiguity. Attention to detail and having a process-oriented approach to solving problems is critical, as is the ability to learn quickly and think on your feet
- Experience: Experience in administrative support or parish ministry or operations is a plus—especially in roles requiring communication, coordination, or systems thinking.
