Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Fullstack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of frontend and mobile engineering and a strong understanding of backend development.

Our Tech Stack

Our frontends are written in React/React Native, while our backend is in Kotlin with a Postgres database run on AWS cloud infrastructure. We don’t require experience in these specific technologies; what we're really after are clever and pragmatic engineers.

This senior-level position requires at least four (4) years of professional experience in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality software solutions, including product managers, designers, and developers.
• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and usability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on full-stack development.
• Proficiency in React Native for building mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience with backend development using any language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.).
• Familiarity with databases and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code documentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
