The opportunity for you
As a Brokerage Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our brokerage business and other business units (Customs and Managed Transportation Services). You will lead the charge in expanding our customer base and promoting our differentiated value proposition, utilizing cutting-edge technology and attractive payment terms.
Your expertise in sales and logistics will be instrumental in building and maintaining a portfolio of strategic accounts. Drawing on your consultative approach, you will provide tailored logistics solutions to address the unique needs of each customer. This role will allow you to navigate more complex sales cycles and develop account-specific growth strategies to drive long-term success.
What you'll own
- Full-cycle sales. Prospect, qualify, run discovery, quote, close and onboard. You own the pipe from first touch to ongoing operation.
- Pipeline development. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified accounts.
- Post-close transition. Hand off closed deals cleanly to our ops team, ensuring the customer is set up for success and the relationship carries forward.
A typical week
- Debrief- Lead the prospecting efforts for potential customers aligning with Nuvocargo's short and long-term commercial and operational strategy.
- Showcase Nuvocargo's value proposition, with a special emphasis on our ability to provide an array of complimentary services to potential customers, effectively communicating the value to various stakeholders within their organizations.
- Collaborate proactively and assertively with pricing, operations, product, and the leadership team to create, advance, and successfully close new business for Nuvocargo.
- Initiate and implement initiatives, plans, and strategies to exceed sales quotas, taking charge of their successful implementation and long term growth.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all sales-related activities and administrative tasks. with the team on deal progression, objections, and competitive dynamics.
Who you are
- 5+ years of proven success in B2B Sales, with a focus on value-oriented services, preferably in cross-border logistics.
- Proficiency in using CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc., to manage customer relationships and sales processes effectively.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- You use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, enrichment platforms) to accelerate research, build materials, and move faster. Willing to adopt new tools quickly.
- Experience selling logistics, supply chain, or freight services is a strong plus. What matters most is the ability to learn a complex product and sell it consultatively.
- Background working in multi-cultural environments and Spanish speaking proficiency are another strong plus.
This won't be a good fit if
- You need to be managed. This role has real autonomy and real accountability. You'll own your portfolio and are expected to drive results without hand-holding.
- You want strategy without execution. We're early-stage. Everyone on the sales team gets in the weeds — building their own lists, writing their own proposals, following up on their own deals.
- You rely on inbound. This is a hunter role. You'll generate a meaningful portion of your own pipeline through outbound effort and relationships.

Compensation
- $120,000–$170,000 OTE (New York range; adjusted for other US locations).
