The Remember Me team is focused on improving conversion and enrollments for Plaid’s Remember Me network. We take on foundational efforts and run data-driven experiments to enhance the user experience. Whether we’re prototyping new features or scaling existing systems, we make sure every change boosts both performance and user satisfaction. Together, we contribute directly to Plaid’s top company goals by driving product growth and delivering meaningful results.
As a member of the Remember Me Growth team, you will lead development efforts to strengthen our Remember Me network. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to identify growth opportunities and design experiments that validate hypotheses. You’ll set both a technical and cultural example by driving the team’s technical direction and mentoring junior engineers. Your efforts will directly contribute to Plaid’s top company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multi-quarter, multi-team technical projects in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Working on both the 0 to 1 stage and the 1 to 10 stage of problems.
  • Engage in hands-on coding and architectural design, setting and maintaining high technical standards for a high performing team
  • Grow the team via mentorship and leadership.
  • Designing and running experiments to optimize user conversion and enrollment rates for Remember Me.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, data, and foundational teams) to ideate new features, streamline user flows, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contributing to strategic planning by helping shape the short-term and long-term direction of the team’s experiments and growth initiatives, with influence on how foundational teams build components to support the Growth team.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • 2+ years of experience as a project lead, working with other engineers, and other functions (product, design, data science) to drive execution.
  • Strong product sense, customer empathy, and understanding of user needs.
  • Passion for both prototyping early-stage products and scaling them into stable, high-quality solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring junior engineers.
  • [Nice-to-have] Experience in growth engineering, running data-driven experiments, or user optimizations.
