We’re solving this by automating accounting from the ground up, and can already do in seconds what takes incumbents weeks to deliver. Quanta is already trusted to handle accounting and financials by many of today’s fastest growing startups.
Today’s status quo is a cycle of painful finance data lag caused by manual and infrequent processes. Our platform replaces outsourced manual work with software, and replaces their static, manually entered numbers with a live, contextual view of the business. About us

We are a tight-knit team of 14, working fully in-person in downtown San Francisco.
Our team has spent our careers at the intersection of finance and technology. Between all of us, we’ve built accounting systems at Affirm, ledgers at Stripe and Robinhood, built previous companies from the ground up, passed CPA exams, and built finance teams from one to dozens. We’ve been founders, first finance hires, product leads, and founding engineers. We’ve led 0→1 launches and scaled systems to support billions in transactions. We understand our customers because we’ve been in their shoes, and care deeply about the future of finance that we’re building.

About the role

As the first marketing hire at Quanta, you will start by owning our content strategy — blog, social, email — but will eventually shape every part of how we go to market: demand gen, brand, product launches, even sales support. You’ll work directly with the founding team to help craft our external presence from the ground up.

What you’ll do

Lead our marketing efforts. Plan and create high-quality content across all mediums — including blog, social, and email — including customer stories, launch posts, and thought leaderships pieces.
Define and evolve our voice. Bring Quanta’s tone to life: smartly communicating complex accounting and financial subject matter to a broad group of personas.
Build the marketing foundation. Stand up systems, processes, and strategy for content, analytics, and distribution.
Work across the GTM funnel. Partner with the team to shape messaging, surface insights, and support outbound and onboarding motions.
Expand your scope over time. As we grow, you’ll lead the charge in building out new functions and motions from 0 → 1.

You Might Be a Fit If

You’re a strong writer who loves turning complex ideas into crisp, engaging content.
You’ve created content that actually drove growth — not just traffic or impressions.
You’ve worked in small teams, thrive in ambiguity, and get energy from starting with a blank page.
You’re as comfortable shipping a blog post as you are brainstorming positioning, reviewing campaign metrics, or writing onboarding emails.

Bonus Points

Familiarity or experience with accounting, SaaS, or B2B software
Familiarity with early-stage GTM motions (e.g. founder-led sales, outbound, high-touch onboarding)
You’ve built or owned a content or editorial function before — or want to
Experience with SQL
