RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources.
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based infrastructure solutions on AWS, including services like RDS Aurora, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS Fargate, and more.
- Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to provide guidance on best practices for DevOps, cloud architecture, and automation.
- Develop test and deploy pipelines for containerized and serverless applications with a focus on making them as self-serve for developers as possible, primarily on Github and Github Actions.
- Split DevOps on-call duty with other engineers on the team
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, compliant, and follows best practices for data security and privacy, including IAM, security groups, and VPC configurations.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum 4 years experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
- Experience with AWS technologies, including serverless
- Proven experience with Terraform and/or other Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Previous experience using configuration management platforms to build and manage infrastructure
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, etc.
- Previous experience working with Datadog or similar observability and monitoring
- Previous experience with database technologies such as Postgres or DynamoDB
- Previous experience with queuing and caching platforms such as Redis, Kinesis or Kafka
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Ability to digest and manage feedback from engineers to address pain points across the stack
