Job Description:

What you'll do:
- Own and contribute to circuit and system verification for the VBAT aircraft and all supporting products. This includes new circuit designs, embedded systems, complex sensors, gimbal cameras, and payloads.
- Identify bugs, risks, concerns. Propose solutions and design updates. Provide feedback to the engineering team
- Provide approval for new designs and integrations before they are released to customers
- Engage with the cross functional team including mechanical, electrical, embedded, manufacturing, thermal, etc.
- Manage your project timeline and deliverables
- Help our team improve processes to enable your work and improve efficiency/autonomy
- Conduct and attend cross functional design reviews
- Mentor teammates when possible
- Help develop automated test solutions for engineering and production
- Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Contribution to a product design involving EE, ME, and SW engineering
- Experience with circuit testing, debugging, navigating a schematic + layout, using basic lab tools/equipment, and documenting findings in a clear way
- Detail oriented and organized
- You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working on cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems
- Proven background in thriving within fast-paced environments, particularly within startup or R&D settings
- Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and the ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands and drive successful outcomes.
Total package details:
Regular employee positions: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity
Temporary employee positions: Hourly within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)
*Interns/Military Fellows/Part-time not eligible for bonus, benefits or equity
