What You'll Do:
- Lead test campaigns for integrating Hivemind mission autonomy elements on a variety of external platforms. To include technical approach alignment with various engineering functions as well as internal and external program management entities
- Generate test strategy for execution, to include system level test planning, verification and validation of all systems under test
- Stand up and manage configuration of specific test elements, to include Software and Hardware-In-the-Loop, simulation tools and automated test pipelines
- Develop test cases, metrics to measure system performance, and generate reporting artifacts for internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety of flight test operations
- Establish best practices and Standard Operating Procedures in-line with industry standards
- Document test procedures, results, and lessons learned to contribute to the continuous improvement of flight test processes
- Support travel to internal and customer integration events
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline, such as Aerospace, Software, Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in test environments including Software/Hardware In the Loop, and simulation environments in tech, defense or related field.
- Experience with cross-functional support with Systems Engineering and design engineering functions.
- You are organized and methodical.
- You are a strong communicator, both written and verbally.
- You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Department of Defense Operational Test and Evaluation (DT&E/OT&E) processes
- UAS or autonomous system experience
- Experience working in DoD SW/HW laboratories
