Job Description:
The Senior Manager of Demonstrations supervises the V-BAT demonstration crews who perform flight events in support of deal capture and business development initiatives. They manage demonstration event execution globally in support of domestic and international customer requirements and ensure readiness of demonstration personnel and equipment in support of any business development needs. They are the company’s primary touchpoint for all V-BAT demonstration flight events and partner with program managers, account executives, and senior company leadership to ensure deal capture impetus and customer delight with SAI people and products.
What You'll Do:
- Track and manage CONUS and OCONUS demonstration events for multiple customers simultaneously.
- Mentor and develop demonstration crewmembers.
- Develop flight and mission profiles to meet customer requirements.
- Oversee airworthiness compliance for crew and equipment.
- Serve as a primary touchpoint cross-functionally between the demonstration team and key stakeholders.
- Develop and supervise training and readiness plans for personnel and equipment.
- Ensure integration of the newest technologies and operator proficiency with them.
- Analyze performance and data metrics to assess organizational efficiency of flight-based deal capture events.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a fast-paced organization.
- Highly effective oral and written communications and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer-based productivity applications.
- Experience owning projects and event planning end-to-end.
- Ability to possess a Secret DoD security clearance as required by customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Global operations management experience.
- Aviation industry experience.
- Deployed operational experience in a leadership role.
- Understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Senior NCO or Officer Professional Military Education.
