WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and implement supply chain processes to support the India facility, ensuring alignment with global operations.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard local suppliers to improve lead times and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability and minimize disruptions.
- Establish KPIs to monitor supplier performance, logistics efficiency, and inventory levels.
- Train and mentor the local supply chain team to build long-term operational capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems for purchasing, inventory, and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of supplier development.
- Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with global teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience setting up supply chain functions in new manufacturing facilities, particularly in India.
- Knowledge of aerospace, automotive, or other high-complexity manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with lean supply chain principles and cost-reduction strategies.
- Understanding of import/export regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong data analysis skills to drive decision-making and process improvements.
