What you'll do:
- Capture and edit high-quality video content that tells compelling brand and product stories.
- Manage projects from ideation to completion, including concept development, filming, editing, and final delivery.
- Collaborate with internal video producers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand messaging and strategic objectives.
- Shoot on-location video content, requiring travel up to 25% of the year, sometimes with short notice (as little as 24 hours).
- Operate and maintain professional camera equipment such as Sony A7sIII, Sony FX6, and similar gear.
- Edit and enhance video content using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Perform color correction, audio correction, and final delivery adjustments to ensure polished, professional results.
- Ensure all video content aligns with Shield AI’s brand style guide, maintaining a consistent and professional visual aesthetic.
- Animate motion graphics and visual elements, enhancing storytelling and production quality.
- Respond to feedback effectively and iterate quickly to refine video assets based on input from leadership and stakeholders.
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while upholding high creative standards.
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in a professional videography and post-production editing role.
- Proficiency with professional camera equipment, including Sony A7sIII, Sony FX6, or similar.
- Strong understanding of video production workflows, including on-set best practices, lighting, audio recording, and post-production techniques.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects. Ability to perform advanced editing, including color correction, audio correction, and motion design.
- Strong eye for typography, composition, and layout, ensuring visually engaging final products.
- Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, responding to feedback with flexibility and professionalism.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the year, sometimes with only 24-hour notice.
- A demonstrated history of hard work, teamwork, high standards, and professionalism.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced motion design skills, with experience in creating animated graphics and visual effects.
- Experience with 3D animation or CGI software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine) for advanced motion graphics.
- Experience with live-streaming setups and multi-camera production.
