What you'll do:
- Collaborate across functional teams to provide Industrial Cooperation and Offset support to international opportunity marketing plans and capture strategies.
- Develop and maintain Industrial Cooperation and Offset policies and procedures in conjunction with company guidance.
- Identification and evaluation of potential local in country partners for collaborate offset initiatives.
- Assist with the translation of Industrial Participation and Offset requirements into executable, measurable projects that fulfill potential obligations.
- Maintain expertise and contacts worldwide for Industrial Cooperation and Offset policies and practices in order to advise internal company stakeholders on when and how Industrial Cooperation and Offset will be required or can be used for competitive advantage.
- Provide assistance and guidance on preparation, review and execution of Industrial Cooperation and Offset plans, proposals, transactions, and agreements.
- Analyze economic outcomes, recommended approaches based on specific country industrial and offset priorities and offset regulations including identification of offset credit banking opportunities.
- Monitor global trends and country specific policies and guidelines on Industrial Cooperation and advise on best practices and emerging or changing requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of Industrial Cooperation and Offset efforts.
- Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify risks and recommend mitigating strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Industrial Cooperation and Offset matters with customers, third parties, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and project teams on Industrial Cooperation and Offset matters including but not limited to plans, risk, issues, and best practices.
- Ensure the timely and compliant fulfillment of Industrial Participation and Offset commitments.
- Prepare and submit required Industrial Participation and Offset reports while maintaining organized records of all related Industrial Participation or Offset obligation materials.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing offset or industrial cooperation programs, preferably in aerospace, defense or government contracting.
- Strong understanding of global offset policies and frameworks (e.g., Europe, Asia, Middle East).
- Demonstrated experience in government negotiations, cross-border transactions and industrial partnerships.
- Experience negotiating terms and conditions and structuring/managing complex agreements.
- Exceptional organizational skills, communication and attention to detail.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience working with broad range of global customers demonstrating successful implementation and execution of Industrial Cooperation and Offset obligations.
- Proficient knowledge of and demonstrated ability to identify and analyze customer industrial requirements and provide solutions to internal company stakeholders for Industrial Cooperation and Offset activities.
- Familiarity with ITAR, EAR and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) processes.
- Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems a plus.
- Language skills relevant to key regions a plus.
