Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Subcontracts Management / Supply Chain professional to join our team on a short-term temporary basis (approximately 3–4 months). This role will not convert to a permanent position but offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact supporting our supply chain operations. This person ideally brings a mix of experience in aerospace as well as entrepreneurial drive and rigor to excel in this fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Perform PO (Purchase Order) maintenance, including updating due dates and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
- Engage directly with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, follow up on open orders, and help resolve basic issues.
- Support the subcontracts team with day-to-day operational tasks to drive timely execution and smooth supplier coordination.
- Coordinate and manage vendor interactions tied to submitted purchase orders.
- Assist with procurements across a variety of requirements, including raw materials, services, and tooling, with an emphasis on maintaining accuracy and supplier communication.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or subcontracts management (aerospace or related field preferred).
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented work such as PO updates and supplier follow-up.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Deltek/Costpoint a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience engaging suppliers in aerospace, automotive, or electronics/mechanical assemblies industries.
- Exposure to FAR/DFARS or other compliance-driven environments.
