What You'll Do:
- Program Integration & Coordination: Lead cross-functional alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure all supply chain activities support the aircraft launch schedule.
- Supplier Management: Oversee critical suppliers to ensure capacity, quality, and on-time delivery of long-lead and high-value components. Handle contract and SOW negotiations, conduct regular site visits, and travel as needed.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation: Develop contingency plans for potential supply disruptions, including alternative sourcing, safety stock strategies, and dual-supplier options.
- Schedule & Milestone Tracking: Establish and maintain supply chain timelines tied to key aircraft development and production milestones, ensuring proactive issue escalation.
- Engineering Collaboration: Apply engineering know-how to evaluate design changes, provide feedback on material choices, and support manufacturability decisions.
- Cost & Efficiency Optimization: Drive initiatives to control costs, improve material flow, and enhance supply chain performance throughout the aircraft launch program.
- ERP & Financial Management: Use ERP tools to manage purchase orders, MRP forecasts, and invoice processing efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or subcontracts management (aerospace or related field preferred).
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented work such as PO updates and supplier follow-up.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Deltek/Costpoint a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with purchasing Aerospace and Defense components (Avionics, Composites, Metallics, Radios, etc.)
- Exposure to FAR/DFARS or other compliance-driven environments.
