What you'll do:
- Support and Implementation: Assist engineers in setting up machinery and equipment, conducting tests, and ensuring the operational readiness of manufacturing systems.
- Routine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance on manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues as they arise during production, and take proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document manufacturing work instructions, performance data, and test results. Identify and resolve production blockers. Compile reports based on production data to provide insights for process optimization and improvement.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to the manufacturing team, offering guidance on equipment operations, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
- Hands-On Tasks: Engage in hands-on tasks, directly interacting with production machinery and materials to ensure efficient operation and quality output.
- Training Support: Assist in training new staff on equipment operations, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures to ensure competency and adherence to quality standards.
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an electrical technician, electronics integration, or related role.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, wiring harness fabrication, and basic PCBA-level work.
- Working knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers
- Familiarity with serial communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI) and RF systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar high-tech industry
- Prior experience creating visual work instructions for assembly and test processes
