Staff Technical Product Manager, Sustainment (R3848)

What you'll do:
- Global Product Ownership: Define and manage the sustainment product roadmap for V-BAT across both domestic and international fleets, covering spares, repairs, training, technical data, and digital sustainment tools.
- Customer Engagement: Serve as the voice of both U.S. and foreign operators, capturing sustainment requirements and translating them into offerings that work across varied mission sets and geographies.
- Financial Stewardship: Build and manage pricing models, cost-to-serve frameworks, and business cases that ensure profitability while remaining competitive across U.S. DoD and FMS/Direct Commercial Sales.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Field Operations to deliver globally consistent, high-quality sustainment capabilities.
- Lifecycle Management: Monitor fleet performance (MTBF, readiness, cost per flight hour) across customer sites to inform product improvements, contract terms, and international support models.
- Growth Enablement: Design sustainment packages that support early BD campaigns and long-term recurring revenue opportunities in both domestic and export markets.
- Compliance: Ensure sustainment offerings meet ITAR, NDAA, export control, and international military standards.
Required qualifications:
- 5–10 years in relevant Product Management, Program Management, or Sustainment roles (defense/aerospace preferred).
- Direct experience with military aircraft sustainment, logistics, or lifecycle support — ideally in both domestic and international contexts.
- Strong financial skills (pricing, margin management, recurring revenue models).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including with foreign partners and customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
