What You’ll Do
- Own and drive full-cycle recruitment across Shield AI’s APAC operations, ensuring a world-class candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Partner with functional and regional leaders to define hiring needs, workforce plans, and go-to-market recruiting strategies aligned with Shield AI’s mission.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent across technical, operational, and leadership roles.
- Act as a trusted advisor on all things talent — from market insights and compensation benchmarking to employer branding.
- Collaborate with our U.S. and international Talent teams to deliver a consistent, values-driven hiring experience globally.
- Manage and mentor sourcing and coordination support where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with regional employment laws, data privacy standards, and company policies acrossAPAC region.
- Track key hiring metrics, providing reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10 + years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth technology, aerospace, defense, or robotics companies.
- Proven success hiring across the APAC markets and navigating regional differences in hiring practices and employment law.
- Strong background in both technical (engineering, AI/ML, autonomy) and non-technical (operations, business, G&A) recruitment.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing through data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of talent mapping, proactive sourcing, and market intelligence.
- Experience using Lever (or similar ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Comfortable working across time zones with distributed teams.
