What you'll do:
- Own U.S. close for assigned entities and processes: prepare journals, reconciliations, and flux; maintain GL–subledger integrity across prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, payroll, and deferrals.
- Lead close for select foreign subsidiaries: Serve as the U.S. accounting owner for assigned foreign entities, including oversight of local close inputs, U.S. GAAP adjustments, and consolidation readiness.Run the intercompany lifecycle end to end (initiation, settlement, reconciliation) and drive zero-imbalance prior to consolidation in coordination with regional providers.
- Strengthen controls and audit readiness: SOX-aligned evidence of completeness/accuracy, reviewer sign-offs, and PBC support for local and consolidated audits.
- Improve processes and systems: automate reconciliations, reduce cycle time, and partner across accounting teams to reduce recurring issues.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CPA eligible.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) and/or a high-growth international operating environment.
- Advanced proficiency is Excel and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred qualifications:
- CPA
- Experience in multinational corporations or global shared services.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Familiarity with tax implications of international operations.
