What you'll do:
- Define and own the product roadmap for Forge Analysis & Simulation, including simulation tooling, synthetic data pipelines, and high-rate data analytics.
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers, simulation leads, and data scientists to build tooling that supports SIL, HIL, ViL, performance evaluation, and large-scale data analysis.
- Drive user research and discovery with engineering and test stakeholders, capturing pain points and converting them into actionable technical plans and prioritized backlogs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, QA, platform) to deliver new capabilities that improve developer efficiency and visibility into autonomy performance.
- Track and analyze usage, performance, and quality metrics for Forge Analysis & Simulation features, and use these insights to refine scope and roadmap priorities.
Required qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 9 years and a Master’s degree; or 7 years with a PhD; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience in product management, analysis tooling, or autonomy tooling roles with demonstrated technical depth.
- 2+ years experience in a software development role
- Experience with large-scale, high-frequency data analysis and building or prioritizing tooling used by engineers to process, query, and interpret data at scale.
- Strong understanding or experience with autonomy and robotics development workflows including ML/RL behavior development, MLOps, and requirements traceability.
- Hands-on familiarity or strong working knowledge of SIL/HIL/VIL simulation frameworks, related 2D/3D visualization tooling, or autonomy performance evaluation ecosystems.
- Proven ability to conduct user research, synthesize findings, and translate them into actionable product requirements and roadmaps.
- Expert at using Generative-AI-based tooling to iterate on prototypes and generate briefs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience in military tech, aerospace, autonomy tooling, or defense avionics/robotics domains.
- Strong engineering or technical background (BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, EE, or related).
- Experience working with teams building or integrating simulation engines, synthetic data pipelines, or custom data analytics platforms.
- Prior work experience at companies focused on simulation, autonomy analysis, or large-scale telemetry tooling.
