What you'll do:
- Build and maintain a fleet of test systems that include electrical, mechanical, and software elements
- Respond to emergent issues on the production floor to keep the line moving
- Contribute to or attend cross-functional design reviews and advocate for design changes that result in simpler rework and testing processes
- Perform benchtop electrical testing and debugging
- Perform PCBA and harness rework
- Design basic circuit boards, harnesses, and mechanical fixtures in addition to working with and deploying servers. Help us save lives as we strive to deliver the most highly reliable aerospace hardware in the industry.
Required qualifications:
- Experience with hands-on technical work in a high-volume production setting.
- Experience performing benchtop testing.
- Experience performing PCBA and harness rework.
- Experience designing and maintaining engineered systems.
- Understanding of fundamental engineering concepts, including EE, Mech E, Programming, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects, which can be from an internship, job, club, team, personal project, etc…
- Demonstrated history of showing ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results.
- Record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with PCB schematic and layout tools, including Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, etc.
- Experience building wiring harnesses and assembling circuit boards.
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, etc.
- Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and the ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands and drive successful outcomes.
