About Tia

Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people rather than as separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, and wellness across in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes and creating a better experience for patients and providers.

About the Role

We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with strong gynecology and women’s health experience to join our hybrid clinical team supporting patients both virtually and at our Culver City clinic.

This role is focused on expanding Tia’s gynecology capacity. We are seeking either a provider whose core background is in gynecology or women’s health, or a broadly trained provider with substantial experience across both gynecology and primary care.

Our greatest current need is for a provider who can independently evaluate and manage a broad range of gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns. This is not a general primary care-focused opening.

The role offers flexibility in how virtual and in-person care are balanced. Depending on candidate availability, clinical experience, and business needs, schedules may include:

  • Two days in clinic and three days providing virtual care
  • Three days in clinic and two days providing virtual care
  • A 32-hour schedule with two in-clinic days and two virtual days

Specific clinic days and schedule structure will be discussed during the interview process.

Because Tia treats women as whole people, you will also address related preventive, behavioral health, and common outpatient needs within scope, while coordinating with Tia’s broader clinical team when additional care is needed.

Why Tia

  • Flexible hybrid schedules combining virtual and in-person care
  • Protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration
  • AI-supported documentation designed to reduce charting burden
  • Beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinics
  • Quarterly bonus and equity
  • The opportunity to help shape a new model for women’s healthcare
  • A multidisciplinary model supporting coordinated in-person and virtual care

What You’ll Do

  • Provide preventive and problem-based gynecology care through both in-person and virtual visits
  • Provide annual exams, contraception counseling, STI care, cervical cancer screening follow-up, pregnancy confirmation, and pregnancy-options counseling
  • Evaluate and manage concerns including PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, fertility, menopause and perimenopause, sexual wellness, and vaginal, vulvar, urinary, or genital symptoms
  • Perform physical examinations, specimen collection, testing, and procedures during in-person care within your training, licensure, credentialing, and Tia’s clinical scope
  • Determine when concerns can be managed virtually and when patients require an in-person examination, testing, imaging, specialty referral, procedural care, or a higher level of care
  • Address related primary care, preventive, and behavioral health concerns within scope
  • Review results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, operations, and clinical leadership
  • Use technology, data, and clinical protocols to support high-quality, evidence-based care

What You’ll Bring

Requirements

  • Active California NP or PA license
  • Current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA
  • Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain before starting
  • At least two years of independent outpatient clinical experience
  • Significant experience independently managing gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns
  • Strong judgment regarding which concerns can be safely managed virtually and which require in-person evaluation
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
  • Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
  • Comfort working within a collaborative, technology-enabled care model

We are especially interested in candidates with:

  • Core experience in gynecology, women’s health, reproductive health, fertility, or sexual health
  • Broad experience across both gynecology and primary care, with substantial gynecology-focused responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certification or another women’s health-focused background
  • Experience managing menopause, contraception, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, fertility, pelvic pain, or sexual health concerns
  • Experience performing gynecology procedures within APP scope
  • Prior telehealth experience
  • Experience in an integrated or multidisciplinary care setting

Training and Development

Candidates must join with a strong existing foundation in outpatient gynecology and women’s health.

Additional training may be provided in areas such as virtual care pathways, menopause care, sexual wellness, weight management, medical dermatology, procedural scope, and Tia’s clinical workflows and technology.

Work Location and Schedule

This is a hybrid clinical role combining in-person care at Tia’s Culver City clinic with virtual patient care.

Both full-time and 32-hour schedule configurations may be considered. The specific balance of clinic and virtual days will be determined based on candidate availability, qualifications, patient care needs, and business needs.

Candidates must be able to work regularly from the Culver City clinic on their designated in-person days.
