Braintrust is seeking an experienced community leader who is passionate about galvanizing highly skilled talent around the globe and offering them opportunities to learn, earn, and grow. You will be the face of our Community and get to know them inside and out. You will understand their desires and motivations for coming to Braintrust and create opportunities to engage with them to keep them coming back. You will help organize and incentivize a team of highly engaged Community Leaders to act as an extension of you and the Network to create programming, content, and connective tissue. You will leverage our unique competitive advantage, the BTRST token, to scale and drive impact.
Responsibilities:
- Professional Network: Grow community engagement in the Professional Network. Lead and seed distinct conversations in each space that add value to the talent.
- Community Moderatoration: Organize and manage a team of community moderators to remove content that violates our guidelines.
- Leverage BTRST: Develop bounty programs, contests, awards, and otherwise gamify people’s demand for and use of the token. Support the product team as they run different token tests to drive value and collect feedback.
- Building: Enable our Braintrust Community to build with us. Activate a team of Talent Community Leaders to develop programming for various types of freelance talent. Look for other opportunities to recruit committed community members.
- Feedback + Support: Earn the trust of our talent community by listening to, responding to, and delighting in their feedback. Handle inbound talent questions and queries, escalate major concerns, and develop support articles/FAQs on topics of interest/ heat.
- Product: Support the product team/ be a stakeholder in user research and design. Keep a pulse on trending and hot topics in the community and identify areas of opportunity to grow engagement at scale.
- Content: Develop creative editorial concepts in line with the Network’s core value props and key messaging, and incentivize our community to develop user-generated content – blogs, videos, memes, images, etc.- for distribution.
- Events: Lead global community events that encourage live connection connections. Grow cohorts of community event managers that can expand community impact.
- Social: Develop creative viral campaigns that inspire and incentivize our community to share their experiences (content, press, job opportunities, etc.) on social media in a way we can amplify to help advance our message and reach a broader audience.
- Partnerships: Establish partnerships with complimentary communities, organizations, brands, and businesses to enrich the community and reach a broader audience.

Requirements:
- A proven ability to build and manage a global community of 1,000,000+
- 5+ years of experience in community management
- At least 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation
- Experience working in Web3/ crypto and/or talent/ recruiting a plus.
- Familiarity with and existing relationships with freelance communities and organizations a plus.
- Curiosity and expertise in AI tools that support this role
- Highly organized and operationally efficient, able to work on a wide variety of projects daily
- Thrive in a remote-only environment
