What You'll Be Working On

At QBench, we’re not just creating software; we’re shaping the future of laboratory efficiency. We’re #1 on G2’s list of the Highest Rated LIMS in North America. As a leader in our field, we offer an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, dynamic, forward-thinking team. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing scientific discovery and innovation.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Impactful Work: Your role in scoping client development proposals directly influences the success and efficiency of our clients’ laboratories.
  • Career Growth: We’re committed to your professional development, offering continuous learning opportunities and the chance to work on challenging, meaningful projects. Our rapid growth means the coming years present many opportunities for career advancement.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive team that values your ideas and encourages creativity.
  • Competitive Compensation: Receive a comprehensive salary package, including base and variable components tied to performance metrics.
  • Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom and comfort of a fully remote position, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

This is a fully remote position for an experienced software developer who can work with clients to scope projects. Technical experience is the key bridge between the role, the laboratory, and the systems they need integrated with their LIMS.

QBench is a highly configurable and flexible SaaS platform. Despite that, many laboratory customers have laboratory instruments or 3rd-party software they need integrated with their LIMS to maximize efficiency. Our Sales Engineers are tasked with the important process of interpreting client requirements and creating a realistic estimate for the work required.

To succeed in this role, you need to be conversant with APIs, system integration, transfer protocols, and project planning. You will need to review sales and account management calls in order to interpret and ask the appropriate clarifications for customer requirements. With the help of scoping surveys and several templates for guidance, you will produce the ultimate statements of work that balance customer requirements with the company’s cost of delivery. We are specifically seeking candidates who have done time and materials estimation in US dollars for customers in previous positions.
