Manager, Creator Content & UGC

Etsy is seeking a Manager, Creator Content & UGC to develop and source engaging video content for our paid social campaigns and programs. In this role, you’ll grow Etsy’s creator network, identifying a diverse mix of talent to tell Etsy’s story across multiple campaigns and platforms. Reporting to the Director, Paid Social Content, you’ll work to scale creator content production for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms, working directly with social content creators, video editors and agency partners. You’ll also work closely with our Brand Strategy and Growth Marketing teams, as well as platform partners, to ensure we’re taking an insights-informed approach to content creation.

Availability

40 hours per week

1 year contract, with potential to extend

This hybrid role must be available to work out of Brooklyn office as needed (minimum 1x per week)

What you’ll do:

  • Develop engaging paid social video, working with content creators to bring creative concepts to life from brief through execution
  • Source, pitch and recruit talented external creators across multiple platforms, managing outreach, creative feedback, negotiations and production timelines, while collaborating with our internal Influencer and Affiliate teams as needed
  • Build clear and actionable briefs for external talent, ensuring our brand messages are balanced alongside the creator's authentic voice
  • Source, track and vet compelling Etsy merchandise for integration in creator content
  • Manage post-production and creative review: ensure all content adheres to Etsy’s brand guidelines, voice and tone
  • Finalize all assets for deployment by adding approved copy and captions; uploading content for approval and launch
  • Manage the creator budget, payments, usage rights and contracts, identifying efficiencies across Etsy’s paid, organic and international channels
  • Help to scale creator content production, utilizing platform-specific creator networks and managing external vendors and agencies
  • Manage UGC content from our seller and buyer communities and identify opportunities to optimize it for paid and organic content
  • Track performance of creator and UGC content to ensure we’re taking an insights-informed approach to content creation

About You

  • 4+ years of experience as a social content producer, preferably at a large retail or lifestyle brand, with recent experience specifically across paid social campaigns and formats
  • Experience managing creators and influencers, with the ability to tap into your network - and beyond - to build creator relationships
  • Deep knowledge of the social media landscape: you’re immersed in social content trends with a pulse on cultural conversations
  • Experience supporting content production for paid social formats - particularly on Meta, TikTok and YouTube - and an understanding of how creative strategies and user experiences differ by channel
  • A keen eye for storytelling and content development that will resonate with consumers as well as a discerning eye for what makes video content successful on social
  • Exceptional project management and organization, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously across different channels and campaigns under tight deadlines
  • Clear, considerate and effective communication skills - you enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with peers and partners
