They will be responsible for developing and qualifying inbound leads from referrals, following up with prospects who have been referred, and expanding the Connector Program through both scalable and volume-based outbound activities.
The Braintrust Connector program leverages Braintrust network members’ LinkedIn networks to drive leads to Braintrust, specifically net-new Clients. Connectors receive token rewards when they refer clients who are new to the Braintrust platform and fill first jobs as a result of the referral. This position supports the Connector program by booking meetings and converting leads who have been referred to Braintrust by Connectors.
The Sales Development Representative role will provide the knowledge and skills required for a natural progression into our quota carrying inside sales position.
What you will be doing:
- The majority of your time will be spent meeting with high value Connectors from our talent community and working with them to make intros into their network -- specifically for enterprise clients
- Note, this is different from a typical SDR position, because you will be on the phone with people much more than in the traditional role! We have tons of community members who want to refer clients in their network and you will be managing all of them helping to make referrals easy and valuable for them and us.
- Qualified meetings scheduled for Account Executives (Sales)
- Conduct baseline research within Connectors network to identify targeted accounts and key contacts for introductions
- Manage email and communication follow up with Connectors and help to prep Account Executives for sales calls with new prospects
- Manage lead generation from net-new referral leads from referral channels
- Partner with marketing, sales, and product to improve the programs reach!
- Manage and log activity in Salesforce
- Lead development, sales, or recruiting experience preferred
- Proven track record of success, top performer
- Competitive attitude!
- Experience in outbound lead generation (inc. recruiting) a nice to have
- Ability to work in a high energy, dynamic sales team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, Linkedin, Phantom Buster, and Salesforce.com a plus
- Well-organized, self-motivated, competitive and driven by success
- EST timezone is preferred, but anywhere PST-EST is ok
- US/CAN
- Compensation is base and variable split
