Job Description

Freelance project length: 6 months.

Hours worked: Around 20 hours per week, with possibility of an increase.

Please note, we will only consider candidates with communication proficiency in English & Spanish.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Store G2, Azure Synapse Link, Azure Data Factory, Python 3+, MLOps, and GPT 3.5. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, understand and convey data and analytics concepts through written and verbal communication.
  • Utilize Azure Synapse Link to create seamless data workflows.
  • Apply Python 3+ in data analysis, scripting, and automation tasks.
  • Implement MLOps practices to streamline machine learning workflows.
  • Work with GPT 3.5 to integrate advanced AI functionalities.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings and collaborate effectively with team members in both Spanish and English.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Store G2, Azure Synapse Link, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Proficient in Python 3+ and familiar with MLOps principles.
  • Experience with GPT 3.5 or similar AI models.
  • Experience with data catalogs such as: Microsoft Purview (primarily), Collibra, Atlan, Alation and/or Egnyte (secondarily).
  • Can provide strategic insight (both verbal and written) on enforcing data practices as based on customers' regulatory policies in the enterprise and meet compliance requirements.
  • Deep understand of enterprise data schemas (including Microsoft 365 cloud)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
