Your Way to Impact:

As Senior Design Program Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver the best possible experiences for our customers. You will be part of an immersive, fast-paced environment, overseeing multiple projects across different customer segments for Venmo and working collaboratively across Design, Content, and Research functions.

Your Day to Day:

  • Guide UX efforts across product design teams, including planning and working with cross-functional partners to remove blockers and presenting effectively to senior staff and stakeholders.
  • Own program strategy for end-to-end delivery using product development process lifecycles and workflows.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional Design team members (Research, Content Design, Design Operations, Branding) and Business and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Drive best practices in process and methodology to deliver against business and customer needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement to design operations and processes (intake, capacity planning, tooling, workflow mapping)

What You Need to Bring:

  • A successful candidate should have at least 10+ years of experience as a producer, project manager, or program manager with
  • Proven ability in managing multiple projects within a design team or design operations is required.
  • Candidates should have a thorough command of the UX lifecycle, knowledgeable in all skill areas and tools, including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniques.
  • Background in software, product, or design development and ability to understand technical structures, challenges, and risks quickly conceptually is preferred.
  • Experience breaking down complex problems and driving decision-making and prioritization discussions.
  • Ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback from multiple teams/owners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in FinTech or a similar industry is an advantage.
