Notes: This role requires significantly international travel through the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

General Description: The Field Marketing Specialist will play a key role in designing, implementing, and executing marketing programs and events in the Middle East, Asia and Australia regions, with the goal of generating qualified leads and accelerating the progression of opportunities in the sales pipeline. You will be responsible for shaping and actioning the regional events strategy, executing demand campaigns, and managing account-based marketing initiatives. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance and reporting on results.
Data Skills/Qualifications/Education:
- Degree in marketing or a related field.
- B2B marketing experience.
- Previous experience in a field marketing role.
- Prior knowledge of gas detection is advantageous.
- Proven experience of planning, prioritizing, and implementing marketing campaigns and projects.
- Previous experience managing events and lead generation.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
- Proven experience in managing multi-channel campaigns and using data to guide marketing strategies.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and budgets.
- Excellent phone, interpersonal, verbal and written capabilities and capability to work with staff at all levels across different geographies.
- Entrepreneurial approach, committed to improvements and with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal direction.
- Proficiency with marketing automation systems and CRM (preferably HubSpot).
- Resilient and able to react quickly, and creatively solve problems under pressure.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Experience managing media relations and acting as a company spokesperson would be advantageous.
- Fluent in English – Arabic & other language(s) is a plus.
- The primary partner to our Business Development and Sales teams locally to develop and execute a coordinated account-based go-to-market plan. Partner with product and content marketing teams to produce bespoke content aimed at educating these target audiences.
- Represent all marketing functions in all region, closely coordinating with HQ leaders.
- Develop quarterly plans with regional sales leaders to build pipeline.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews with channel partners to ensure alignment of plans and activities.
- Support onboarding and go-to-market planning with channel partners.
- Complete ownership of the local proprietary events marketing function which primarily aims to educate our target audiences. Plan and host online and offline events to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities, and deepen our existing customer relationships.
- Maximize Blackline’s reach and presence at third-party events through sponsorship execution and complimentary marketing campaign creation.
- Own sales enablement for event presence, pre- and post-event follow-up campaigns and lead collection. No lead left behind!
- Operational excellence in building programs across the region, often running multiple activations consecutively.
- Develop a regular cadence of ROI reporting and analytics on the region’s ABM and demand gen business that will be presented to sales & marketing stakeholders including the executive team.
