Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to provide analysis, design, and support for both short and long-term IT solutions. This position serves as a technical expert or project lead, responsible for identifying capability gaps, designing solutions, and ensuring smooth system operations. The role includes supporting ERP and financial systems replacement projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing incident resolution and ongoing support.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to provide analysis, design, and support for both short and long-term IT solutions. This position serves as a technical expert or project lead, responsible for identifying capability gaps, designing solutions, and ensuring smooth system operations. The role includes supporting ERP and financial systems replacement projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing incident resolution and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and design IT solutions to address capability gaps.
- Analyze and recommend best practices for business systems, maximizing performance and user satisfaction.
- Lead technical projects, including quality assurance, vendor coordination, and lifecycle management.
- Provide operational support for systems, including performance testing, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Design and maintain system interfaces, data models, and business intelligence capabilities to meet changing needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis, recommend business process improvements, and implement system enhancements.
- Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain documentation for system requirements, decisions, and activity logs.
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to compliance standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years (5+ preferred) in a business analyst role focused on ERP or financial system projects.
- Skills:

- Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Office 365, and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Knowledge of project management principles and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with COTS and SaaS solutions, Azure DevOps, SQL databases, and cloud-based systems (AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with ITIL service management concepts and software quality assurance principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
