The Role
This position combines the creativity and community-focused mindset of a Growth Marketing Manager with the drive and tenacity of a Sales professional. You will work across a broad range of initiatives, from community-building on social platforms to end-to-end sales outreach with game developers. You will report directly to the CCO and shadow them on strategic partnerships, including closing deals with AAA developers and other strategic partners—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to accelerate your career growth at an unprecedented pace.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Marketing
- Develop and execute engaging social media strategies to increase brand awareness and user engagement, especially among Gen Z.
- Build, manage, and nurture a vibrant community of users and advocates. Foster strong relationships with users, influencers, and brand ambassadors. Previous experience with Discord is a plus
- Assist in creating compelling content for various communication channels, ensuring messaging aligns with the Ray brand voice.
- Constantly generate and test creative growth experiments to attract and retain players. Previous experience with main ad channels (Meta, Google, etc.) a plus.
- Analyze and iterate on campaigns to optimize user acquisition and retention strategies.
- Own the entire sales funnel—from prospecting and initial outreach to negotiation and closing.
- Identify and engage game developers of all sizes, with the goal of bringing them onto our platform.
- Demonstrate self-driven hustle, seeking opportunities to connect with both emerging and established studios, including AAA developers.
- Work alongside the CCO on larger, high-impact deals to learn from their expertise and help secure strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with product and leadership teams to align marketing and sales strategies with overall company objectives.
- Provide community and sales feedback to inform product roadmaps and company positioning.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Fluent in English with strong writing and editing abilities.
- Able to craft messaging that resonates with diverse audiences—from casual gamers to hardcore enthusiasts.
- Social Media Expertise
- Deep understanding of social platforms and emerging trends popular with Gen Z.
- Proven experience creating engaging, shareable content that drives traffic and builds community.
