Finance & Insurance Manager

The Finance and Insurance Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the Finance and Insurance (F&I) Department's activities and performance at our LaGrange, GA, and Lake Martin, AL locations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Store Supervisor to achieve departmental activity, sales goals, customer satisfaction (CSI), and profitability aligned with the company’s leadership strategy. This position requires a strong aptitude for building relationships, hands-on experience with selling marine products, and the ability to embody Momentum Holdings’ Core Values, Mission, and Strategic Vision.
This role is specifically targeted at candidates who have current or recent experience in Finance and Insurance positions within automotive or marine dealerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in F&I roles and a deep understanding of dealership operations and customer engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance and Insurance Operations:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and lenders to expand the dealership’s portfolio.
- Handle all closings for the dealership, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and state regulations.
- Maximize department profitability through reserve and backend product offerings.
- Maintain adherence to Federal and State compliance regulations in all F&I processes.
- Sales and Support:

- Assist the Sales Manager in deal structuring and closing, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Engage with sales staff to revive and resolve dead deals, leveraging strategies to close potential opportunities.
- Be accessible to sales staff for Terms of Sale (TOS) guidance and support.
- Prepare and back up F&I documentation to ensure operational continuity.
- Events and Offsite Engagements:

- Represent the dealership at offsite events, including boat shows and demo days, to drive sales and brand presence.
- Reporting and Accountability:

- Review the Weekly Scoreboard to monitor department performance.
- Maintain accountability through consistent tracking of the Traffic Log.
- Aid in completing monthly major unit inventory and reconciling discrepancies.
- Team Development:

- Participate in daily and weekly staff training, including manufacturer training, product knowledge development, and event preparation.
