About the Role
The Program Manager on the Vendor Strategy & Operations (VSO) team plays a pivotal role in leading a portfolio of projects and programs that align with Chime’s strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with program stakeholders and leaders to execute on strategy and vision, driving measurable impact and results across our business process outsourced (BPO) vendor support operations.
This role calls for a strong program management professional who thrives in driving alignment, clarity, and execution excellence through structured, data-driven approaches. You’ll help guide some of the highest-priority initiatives within our global BPO vendor ecosystem, ensuring programs operate with the right rhythm, priority, rigor, urgency and transparency.
Success in this role requires proactivity, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to navigate ambiguity — all while communicating effectively at every level of the organization.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680.00 and up to $144,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to (responsibilities)
- Drive operational rigor and continuous improvement across the VSO organization.
- Demonstrate ownership by leading programs and projects from inception through completion.
- Create structure and discipline across complex and evolving initiatives.
- Proactively identify risks and navigate competing priorities.
- Communicate effectively to convey narratives, align stakeholders, and drive results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to break down complex challenges into actionable solutions.
- Manage the VSO program intake system, requests, reporting, and operational hygiene.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and commitment to excellence.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to achieve defined project objectives and key results.
- Lead cross-functional and outsourced vendor initiatives, including new partner site launches, new product or service pilots and process or procedural updates.
- Travel to our outsourced vendor locations, facilitating focus groups, identifying system / process challenges for action and managing those actions through to completion.
To thrive in this role, you have (requirements)
- 6+ years of experience in BPO vendor management, product operations, program management, project management, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate and deliver multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., vendor managers, program managers, operations analysts, and data teams) to build processes and drive outcomes.
- Deep expertise in process management and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma or similar preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to build consensus and influence across all organizational levels.
- Strong prioritization skills and comfort managing multiple work streams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Have a motivated, proactive, and self-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn and grow.
