- Sales Leadership: You will manage and grow a team of 6 AEs that are focused on SMB and middle market deals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales process and strategy that aligns with company goals and market opportunities.
- Sales Execution and Performance Management: Define, achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective pipeline management, forecasting, and sales process optimization.
- Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Account Management, Product & Engineering, Marketing, and Support, to support sales initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Market Insight: understand restaurant industry market trends, and the competitive landscape to drive strategic decisions.
What you will bring
- Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in software sales, with at least 5 years in a people management role. You strive in an early stage environment and are comfortable working with ambiguity. Restaurant experience is a plus.
- Management Experience: Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing sales teams. Strong ability to coach reps using a data-driven process to diagnose skill deficiencies, creating custom coaching plans, and demonstrating improvements in sales performance. Experience managing front line managers is a plus, managing teams of 5+ and scaling departments.
- Sales Process: Deep experience designing and implementing high velocity sales process, compensation plans, and rules of engagement. Codifies, tests, and implements a repeatable process to set meetings, execute discovery calls, deliver product presentations, handle objections, and convert prospects to successful customers.
- Tools Used: Proficiency in CRM software (Slang is on Hubspot), sales automation tools, data analytics, and strategic planning tools.
- Traits and Behaviors: Strong leadership skills, positive attitude, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, strategic thinking, customer-centric mindset, and a collaborative approach.
